Originally built as a wealthy merchant's house in the 1740's The Abbey Hotel re-opened in 1990 after a complete refurbishment which included returning the front of the hotel to its original splendour and has been constantly refurbished since.
All 60 bedrooms are comfortably furnished with en-suite bath/shower, colour television (with Sky TV) radio, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press and hair dryer.
The Restaurant, recently refurbished in a stylish contemporary way serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days per week, and offers superb food provided by Head Chef, Laurent Dohollo.
