Michelle and Franco who orignate from 'down-under' in Sydney Australia offer you a warm welcome.

Ashgrove Guest House is a Georgian house built in 1750 by Thomas Baldwin, and listed as being of historical architectural importance. It is within a ten minute walk of the main city centre and all Bath's many attractions like the Roman Baths, the Pump Room, Bath Abbey, Sally Lunns, the Royal Crescent and the Assembly Rooms.

Within three minute walk you can be surrounded by the beautiful Sydney Gardens or Henrietta Gardens.

At the Ashgrove we offer excellent bed & breakfast accommodation at reasonable prices.

All rooms have gas heating, pleasantly decorated and well appointed. They have private facilities, colour television and radio.

Tea and coffee making equipment is provided in the rooms. The family suite is totally self contained with its own entrance, two bedrooms and bathroom facilities.

Bath

'Aquae Sulis' to the Romans, Bath's hot springs and healing waters have been famous for over 2.000 years.

The 15th century Abbey is nearby and morning coffee can be taken at the Pump Rooms, with afternoon tea taken at the nearby Sally Lunn's, the oldest house in Bath.

There is something for everybody in Bath: Theatres, Music, Art, Museums, Antiques and the sheer delight of the architecture is breathtaking.

Bath is also an ideal base to go off and visit the rest of the West Country. Within easy reach is the city of Wells, Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park, and the two famous caves Wookey Hotel and Cheddar (also famous for its cheese). Bristol, with its concert hall, theatre and zoo is only 30 minutes away. Lacock Abbey and Castle Combe are two pretty villages worth a look. The list is endless but this will give you a taste of the delightful area.
