The Dower House is situated in the grounds of historic Burghope Manor, on the edge of the ancient village of Winsley which overlooks the glorious Avon Valley.
The Dower House has a large sitting room which is typical of this light and spacious accommodation. The room has a central fireplace and is furnished in traditional country house style - with chintz-covered sofas, chairs and occasional tables.
The elegant dining room is served by a modern and fully equipped kitchen - and there is a downstairs cloakroom with a shower unit en suite.
The first floor has three double bedrooms;
One twin bedded room, en-suite with shower and bathtub.
One twin bedded room, en-suite with shower.
One double bedded room with separate private bathroom with tub and shower.
The front of the house overlooks the manor lawns and to the rear is the patio and garden, walled for complete privacy.

Price is £650 for the house per week, including heating, lighting, linen and towels.

A short walk from the main gates through the old part of the village takes you to 'The Seven Stars' Pub, which boasts a wide choice of food. There are also a number of fine restaurants within easy walking and driving distance.
Roman/Georgian Bath is but 5 miles by road, with picturesque Bradford-on-Avon only miles 1½ away. Winsley is on a bus route, with frequent services to Bath, local towns and villages.
Traditional country pursuits such as fishing, shooting and golf are all readily accessible.
The main London to South Wales motorway (M4 - Junction 18) is a 20 minute drive. Express trains from Bath to London Paddington take little more than an hour.
London Heathrow Airport is 90 minutes away by car. The local Bristol Airport services many European and other destinations.
Directions from Bradford-on-Avon:
Take the B3108 from Bradford on Avon. After 2 miles you come to Winsley village. Upon entering the old part of the village you pass on your left 'The Seven Stars' Pub. Approximately 300 yards further on take the next right turn into a lane marked 'Except for Access'. The entrance to Burghope Manor is straight in front of you.
Directions from Bath:
Take the A36 Warminster Road out of Bath. After approximately 5 miles, turn left at traffic lights onto the B3108, signposted Bradford on Avon, continue along the B3108, under the railway bridge and up the hill to Winsley village, (do not take by-pass) turn right into village. When you enter the village you will see a 30mph speed restriction sign. Immediately you have passed the sign turn left into a lane marked 'Except for Access'. The entrance to Burghope Manor is straight in front of you.
From the North:
M5 SOUTH Exit JUNCTION 15, M4 EAST Exit JUNCTION 18 A46 Bath and take the new western by-pass to Corsham and then B3109 to Bradford on Avon
