Bath is full of attractive houses. Elgin Villa, built of mellow Bath
stone at the end of the last century, is one of them. It is owned by Carol and
Alwyn Landman, who recently moved here from South Africa. Carol and Alwyn have
lavished a great deal of care and attention on the house to make Elgin Villa
a charming home they are proud to share with their guests. Set in a peaceful
residential area a short walk - 6 to 8 minutes, from the City Centre, the house
is welcoming the moment you cross the threshold.
Bath is the ideal spot for a short break and Carol and Alwyn are keen for you
to enjoy your stay. They are ready to provide any assistance and information
you require on Bath and the surrounding area.
There are 4 well-appointed guest rooms. 3 are en-suite and the fourth has an
en-suite shower. All rooms have that boon to the traveller - a well stocked
hospitality tray.
Before you set out to explore the history of Bath enjoy a substantial Continental
Breakfast in the comfort of your bedroom. Guests rave about the mouth-watering
muffins Carol bakes every morning.
Breakfast is served in your spacious bedroom and is an extensive menu on the
continental style. Particularly popular are the home baked bran or blueberry
muffins fresh every morning.
Bath is a wonderful city to walk, so leave your car in the private guests car
park and stroll along the river or explore the antique shops. When you return
to the house, you can relax in the comfortable lounge that Carol and Alwyn share
with guests. Sit back and watch TV or read the books and brochures on display
to plan your next day's sightseeing.

The housekeeping is of a high standard under the supervision of Rachel and assisted by Nicola, and as long as you leave your room for a short while in the morning they will keep your room spotless and cosy. The sitting room in the house is always available to guests at anytime during their stay offering widescreen TV, comfortable sofas and numerous books on Bath and the surrounding area. Carol has put together some files of brochure of places of interest and is able to assist you in planning your sightseeing.
On all credit card transactions a 4 percent charge will be added.
Cancellation Policy: 48 hours notice minimum must be given otherwise the first days stay will be charged unless the room can be relet.
