Photo The Green park Brasserie is located two minutes walk from the city centre in the old booking hall of Green park Station - formerly of the Somerset & Dorset Railway and the L.M.S, a victim of the Beeching cuts but now magnificently restored and justifiably listed as " a superb building of oustanding merit".

The Brasserie prides itself on serving food made on the premises from fresh, local ingredients in an Anglo-French style. Head Chef John Headley's C.V. includes extensive experience at Soho's l' Escargot and in Paris.

We are committed to offering high quality dishes at a reasonable price served informally but professionally in a warm, friendly ambience.

The proprietor, formerly a wine buyer, has constructed a well balanced wine list ranging from exellent value vins de pays to Ch. Leoville Lascases '75 with an eclectic selection from many parts of the world.

During the day time you can relax with just a coffee, or a snack from the bar menu or a full meal. The A La Carte is available at lunchtimes and evenings from Tuesday to Saturday.

Enjoy a Segafreddo cappuccino while you email your friends and family from the library of our Internet cafe.

On Friday and Saturday evenings the Brasserie presents live jazz played by some of the exceptionally talented local musicians. The jazz is aways of a melodic and lyrical style and performed at a low volume to allow normal conversation. There is also live jazz on Sunday lunchtimes to accompany coffee, breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We are very fortunate in being able to offer free parking for our customers, night and day, courtesy of J. Sainsbury under cover of the old station roof and approached from the Lower Bristol Road.

The Brasserie is available for function and party hire for up to 120 people.
The Brasserie has an Entertainments Licence, which means that live music, discos and dancing are all permitted.
The Brasserie also holds a supper hours certificate allowing drinks to be served up to Midnight. An extension can be applied for on special occasions.

The Brasserie is open seven days per week.
On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Monday from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., and from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to late. Last food orders are taken at 10.30 p.m. although this can be later by prior arrangement.
